Auto Insurance

Aside from being mandated by the state, Auto Insurance is a must for anyone that owns and operates a vehicle.  An Auto Insurance policy will limit your out of pocket expenses in the event of an unforseen auto accident or any other vehicle damage.  People pay an annual premium to an insurance company so that the company will then pay all or most of the costs associated with an auto accident or other vehicle damage depending on the insureds coverage limits.  There are several coverage's that should be considered when determining what the right policy for you will be

Coverage's to choose from when selecting the auto insurance package that fits your needs:

BIPD (Liability):

One of the most important coverages in your auto policy is bodily injury and property damage liability coverages. This coverage compensates persons who claim that they were injured or suffered property damage because of the ownership, maintenance, or use of your insured auto, up to a limit that you select.

Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist:

This coverage compensates you, members of your household and your passengers, up to a limit that you select, for bodily injury from an accident with a motorist who has no insurance or is under insured.  Uninsured Motorist protection can also compensate you, if you're injured by a hit-and-run driver or if you're injured as a pedestrian.  This coverage is so important as many people driving do not have auto insurance or enough liability coverage's to cover the cost of damages.

According to the Insurance Journal, back in June of 2012 statistics were generated and show that 13 percent of Texas motorists or approximately 2.6 million Texans are driving without the state minimum coverage requirements.  This was a drop from the year before; in June 2011 there was approximately 22 percent of all drivers or 4.2 million people that had no insurance.  This is why in our agency, we strongly recommend to all of our clients that they include this coverage in their policy despite the age of the vehicle.

Medical:

This coverage pays reasonable and necessary medical bills and funeral expenses incurred within two years of an accident, up to a limit you select, for you or a passenger injured while riding in your vehicle. Coverage also extends to you or a family member when riding as a passenger in someone else's vehicle or when struck by a vehicle as a pedestrian.

Comprehensive & Collision (material damage):

Comprehensive coverage compensates you for damage to your vehicle from fire, theft, falling objects, riots, storms, earthquakes, floods, collision with a bird or animal and other natural occurrences.

Collision coverage compensates you for damage to your vehicle that results from a collision with another vehicle or object.

Towing / Road Service:

When you or your loved ones are stranded because your car will not operate and you need help, we're as close as the telephone.  You can reach us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with just one toll-free call. And with our sign-and-drive feature in many of our coverage's, you may not need a credit card or check to get the help you need.

Rental Reimbursement:

This coverage reimburses the insured for the lesser of actual daily rental charges or the purchased limit option for a maximum of 30 days for each qualified disablement on a covered vehicle.  A qualified disablement means a loss covered by the Comprehensive or Collision sections of the policy. Rental Reimbursement may be purchased for any vehicle covered by Comprehensive and Collision coverage's.
